They also can give other options like%all or Level requirement reduction on all equips, or a possible selection of%boss, or%damage on Weapons. Pink bean: I’m not sure if you still need to kill 333 in every map of Temple of Time in order to get the marble quest from the Temple Keeper. I’d recommend 250k range to beat pink bean. It’s important to know the order of which to kill the statues and whatnot, to save you from getting seduced or triggering damage reflect. You can have the best damage numbers in the game but if you ain't hitting what you are aiming at you may as well have poor rolls on your gear. At any boss with over 26.3% PDR your friends 100% ignore DEF + 98% boss will exceed your 50% ignore DEF + 128% boss. Basically every boss has over 25% PDR so yes your friend's setup wins, if everything else (range + crit dmg + crit rate) is the same. Absolutely disgusting. Even if the glitch wasn't there at the end, they would have only succeeded by a few seconds. Stuff like this just puts me off wanting to play, knowing I'll never be able to contribute towards this boss just kills any motivation. It just saddens me that this is the direction that Maplestory is continuing to go in. I thought we were making progress, but this is just 10 steps back.

In my opinion, after Root Abyss, the bosses went more and more into this have super high rang to get low rewards..... Lotus and Damien were ok if they actually dropped eqps, now all systems of eqps are from shards/coins, but the harder versions barely give anything more, instead of even eqps or both types of coins, they give miserable rewards....
I still don't get why it failed.

It didn't even die, it wasn't programmed to be allowed to hit 0 HP.

The boss actually died and counted for the quest and with it they got the medal for hard lucid.

Not according to this: KMS ver. 1.2.277 – MapleStory’s 14th Anniversary (Season 2)!
The following changes have been made to the boss Lucid’s Hard Mode.
When the last phase is at 10% health or lower, the invincibility pattern’s duration has been decreased slightly.
An error where Lucid would heal an abnormally high amount of health in her last phase has been fixed.
