With the right set-up, Leaden Salute will far out do the likes of Detonator or Slug Shot. Unlike the other Marksmanship weaponskills COR can use, the damage Leaden Salute inflicts is entirely magical (darkness elemental). Leaden Salute cannot miss and will go through things like Magic Shield, Invincible and Perfect Dodge. No distance penalty, and wf/leaden never miss. One more thing in case you aren't aware: With the exception of accidentally ws'ing with a hurkan/akvan bullet, don't use high quality bullets when using leaden (or wildfire). Bullet base damage rating does nothing for magic ws, so unless the bullet has macc/mab on it, it does nothing to affect damage. Relic Weapons can be purchased at Rank 6, Level 70+ in @lib and upgraded via the Exchange NPC. Mythic Weapons can be purchased and upgraded via the Exchange NPC. Empyrean Weapons can be obtained through the Empyrean Weapon System. Related Links: Customized Weapon Skills Exchange NPC (Acquisition) Hand-to-Hand.
Jan 29, 2020 If you mainly do dynamis and stuff where magic WSs rule then by far and away DP will outperform the other 2 with the amazing bullets and the very substantial QD damage boost and of course the salute bonus damage, forma will outperform when you need skillchains for say an MB setup or whatever since you can easily make radiance AND Umbra with.
